Apparently I am sending myself emails about the fact I am a complete fat-ass. I use Yahoo for my email and I usually go thru the bulk mail to see if any forward from friends got mis-filed there. I noticed my email address in the sender column. It seems that I am promising myself that I can lose 50 pounds if I send money away to some address. I really hadn't noticed my other personalities becoming so entrepenurial. I just hope I get my share of the profits.

I have been up to my eyelids in a video project I am editing, in lieu of my friend being incarcerated. When this situation first went down, it became obvious that this client was "in the pipeline" and would need to be finished regardless of my friend's legal misfortune. The guys who are handling the businees now agreed to pay me for 1-1 1/2 weeks worth of editing. They mentioned $800 and I agreed. We are now at the 2 1/2 week mark and I have been putting in 12-13 hours a day. Since our agreement, they have vasilated on the price, explaining that their costs have gone up. I have stated tht I didn't agree to this for "whatever was left in the food-dish". Fortunately for me, the client loves my work and is petitioning with my friend's parents to pay me what I am worth. When I talked with my friend in prison, he mentioned I should recieve all of the budget ($1500) for handling this situation.

Self-worth. Who knew?

Another long gap in my writing. This past month has been really a nightmare. One of my friends is in jail on charges of child molestation and other things. In my heart I know it's not true. I have known this guy for 12 years and worked closely with him for many of those years. I have spent considerable hours per week in his home where these ALLEGED events took place. This guy has ADHD so bad he forgets not to scratch himself in public. The oint is this guy has some of the worst memory problems I have ever seen. And according to shithead state trooper Watts, we are supossed to believe this guy was secretly conducting these activities with other people in the house. I have meet these children several times while being at the house and I find it hard to believe any of these accusations.

But when the police showed up to arresst him on initial charges, the one child (a minor) was in the house with several other adults. The police proceeded to question and interorgate this child without his parents. We know from other persons questioned that the police are accussing these people of lying when they deny anything was done to them. The police have even gone so far as to provide information leading to false memories.

I realize you never really know someone 100% but I can't fathom these charges being true.

The prelim hearing was yesterday and he has been in custody for over a month and a half. He has been beaten up by other inmates and he was not allowed to shave in that time. He came into the courtroom looking like the Unibomber or a dirty old man. Some freaking justice system huh?
